Knot&Yoke

Knot&Yoke is a musical project and community.

Rehearsals/assemblies are events equal to gigs. Gigs and recording are equal to assemblies.

Musical skill is not important; members help each other find notes and tunings. What matters is sound, noise, rhythm, improvisation, interaction, experimentation and community.

Music is formed by using improv scores.

Homemade and adapted instruments are encouraged. Bring your own, swap or borrow. Voice is an important instrument that any ensemble member can use.

Knot&Yoke works within ‘seasons’, where pieces and performances evolve over a designated period.
